Description

Abstract: Routine collection of electronic patient-reported outcome measures (ePROMs), through online electronic data capture with real-time scoring and reporting, can enable clinicians to incorporate the patient voice to optimize treatment planning. This study presents the implementation science approaches (Theoretical Domains Framework, Consolidated Framework for Implementation) used to develop a strategic plan to implement ePROMs across primary, rehabilitation and hospital-based care. An evaluation plan (guided by the Proctor Framework) was created to evaluate the implementation and impact.

Describe the new knowledge and additional skills the participant will gain after attending your presentation.: The attendee will gain an understanding of how to evaluate enablers and barriers, develop an implementation plan that includes practitioner training, and select relevant outcomes to evaluate the implementation and impact of use of electronic patient-reported outcome measures (ePROMs) on patient outcomes.
