Description

Abstract: A scoping review following the Arksey and O’Malley framework was conducted to identify the methods and measures that have been used to evaluate the usability of rehabilitation technologies aimed at supporting shared decision-making (i.e. clinical decision support, mobile health apps, and electronic patient-reported outcome systems). A total of 27 articles were included in the scoping review. Findings were categorized based on inductive thematic analysis of usability parameters, rehabilitation technologies and measures of usability.

Describe the new knowledge and additional skills the participant will gain after attending your presentation.: The participant will gain knowledge of usability measures that can be applied in different phases of technology development to support shared decision-making between clinicians, patients, and caregivers to enhance patient-centered care.
