Abstract: There is increasing interest in integrating Patient Reported Outcomes into clinical care. The EHR Access to Seamless Integration of PROMIS (EASI-PRO) project has developed both software platforms to support EHR-PRO integration, as well as implementation tools to facilitate integration PROs into the EHR ecosystem. The presentation will provide Clinical Informatics decision makers with perspectives on both the technical and socio-technical challenges of PRO implementation.

Describe the new knowledge and additional skills the participant will gain after attending your presentation.: The attendee will be able to identify and describe the major institutional challenges involved in implementing Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) software in a clinical setting. The attendee will be able to identify critical stakeholders, to access and utilize tools to develop a comprehensive PRO implementation plan, and to monitor ongoing utilization.
