Description

Abstract: In this session we will review our strategy to understand our aynchronous clinical communication patterns and workflows and describe our plan to meet the needs that we idendified. Our goal is to describe our program to replace antequated and insecure technologies with platforms that allow for effiicient and secure means of communication for our clinical teams.

Describe the new knowledge and additional skills the participant will gain after attending your presentation.: After this session, attendees will be able to define different types of asynchronous communications common to health care settings and describe the tenets of an implementation of a pager replacement program and secure communication platform. The strategy and outcomes will speak to the success of a project and the attendees will be challenged to think critically about the implications of asynchronous communication strategies.
