I'm the Associate Director of Education for the Division of Health Sciences Informatics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as well as Co-Director of the MAS in Population Health Management at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. I have a wealth of applied informatics experiences in clinical algorithm development, digital innovation, and population health IT. And my career has spanned numerous roles in leadership and advising with a wide range of organizations ranging from startups and large corporations to government contractors and non-profits.
I'm board-certified in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Clinical Informatics. As am Assistant Professor in General Internal Medicine with a joint appointment in Informatics and a secondary appointment in Health Policy and Management, my academic interest is in the use of EHR simulation training for medical education
I received my undergraduate degree from Stanford, my medical degree from UCLA and trained in the Osler Internal Medicine residency program here at Hopkins.
