Abstract: Health System Science (HSS) encompasses the fundamental understanding of how healthcare is delivered, how health professionals work together, and how the health system can improve. In the context of advanced EHR skills training, HSS principles can serve as a conceptual framework through which learners can comprehend, and subsequently apply concrete EHR skills. In this poster we present a novel curriculum that utilizes HSS concepts to improve provider proficiency within the Epic EHR.
