Description

Abstract: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) has been a public health issue that 13% of the US population is affected. Due to the lack of national CKD surveillance systems, health system EHR-based CKD registries are developed to improve recognitions as well as filling the gap between clinical measures and care delivery. We conducted a systematic review of these studies and identified the common and unique characteristics between their approaches and results.

Describe the new knowledge and additional skills the participant will gain after attending your presentation.: After reading the abstract, audiences would know the importance of building CKD registries and current effort that has been done on establishing CKD registries.
