Description

Abstract: Early identification and appropriate follow-up and treatment of aortic aneurysms are critical in order to prevent rupture. In this presentation, we discussed how Informatics is used to create a workflow to identify this patient cohort from the electronic health records and radiology text reports, risk stratify the population, and connect them with a clinical team to ensure proper disease follow-up.

Describe the new knowledge and additional skills the participant will gain after attending your presentation.: Understand how to use Informatics to identify a clinical condition from the electronic health record, risk stratify the population involved, and create a workflow to allow outreach to and treatment of a high-risk patient cohort.
