Description

Abstract: Adaptive learning systems use computer algorithms to analyze a student’s performance in real-time and deliver customized content based on individual learner’s needs. We developed adaptive eLearning modules to train new physicians on our health system's EHR. We present the results of our pilot experience training over 450 new users with this tool.

Describe the new knowledge and additional skills the participant will gain after attending your presentation.: 1. Describe adaptive learning and it’s potential in EHR training.
2. Summarize our framework for content development when buiilding adaptive eLearning modules.
3. Determine metrics for success when transitioning from traditional classroom training programs to hybrid training programs including adaptie eLearnings.
