Abstract:
The poster presents the application of a standards-based business architecture framework to the tracking of clinical requirements for a Health Information Exchange initiative. Business Architecture is a standards-based framework that models business processes as a coherent set of activities. Business processes are recognized as organizational assets. Connecting and integrating business processes in a business architecture model using inputs and outputs create management value to define and measure the outcomes of strategic objectives.
